FiiO NEST EDC launched: portable bag for DAPs and DACs

The FiiO NEST EDC was officially launched yesterday (10) in mainland China. It is a portable bag designed for carrying audio equipment. Its development arose from the need to transport the FiiO M27 Digital Audio Player (DAP), which is large and heavy. Below are all the details about this new release.

NEST EDC emerges from the need to transport large and heavy DAPs

According to FiiO, the NEST EDC bag was developed to address the need to transport the FiiO M27 DAP more conveniently. According to Digital Audio Player users, when using the “over-ear” mode via a connected power bank, transporting the equipment became difficult.

For those unfamiliar, the M27’s “over-ear” mode is a gain setting above “high gain,” delivering higher output power. To enable it, the DAP must be connected to a wall charger or a power bank that supports fast charging.

The NEST EDC features two large compartments, allowing the M27 to be stored in one while the power bank is placed in the other. In addition, there are two smaller compartments for storing IEMs (in-ear monitors), cables, and other small accessories.

Two ways to carry the NEST EDC outdoors

To provide greater flexibility to users, FiiO designed the NEST EDC with two carrying options. The first is via a shoulder strap for wearing it over one shoulder. The second is by attaching it to the waist, similar to a waist bag.
