Eversolo Update Brings Spotify Connect Lossless to DMP, Play, and T8 Models

Support for Spotify Connect with lossless transmission was introduced last Saturday (the 31st) through the V1.5.60 operating system update for Eversolo’s DMP, Play, and T8 model series. The information was disclosed by Eversolo itself on its official website and on the social media platforms Instagram and Facebook, where it was stated that it is now possible to “stream high-quality audio at 24-bit/44.1 kHz.”

V1.5.60 Update Brings Support for Lossless Streaming via Spotify Connect

Lossless streaming via Spotify Connect has finally arrived on Eversolo’s desktop streamers with the V1.5.60 system update. According to the manufacturer, users will benefit from the “preservation of Spotify’s original operating mode,” enabling the release of the hardware’s “full potential in terms of resolution and dynamics.”
Eversolo reports that the V1.5.60 update is now available for models in the following series:

• DMP Series (DMP-A6 Gen 2, DMP-A6 Master Gen 2, DMP-A8, and DMP-A10)
• T8
• Play Series

About Lossless Audio on Spotify

The arrival of lossless audio on Spotify was announced on September 10, 2025, for select countries, as previously reported by Hi-Fi Hub. In the statement released by the popular music streaming platform, it was noted that users would be able to “stream tracks at up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC, revealing more detail in virtually all music available on Spotify.”

What Is Spotify Connect?

Spotify Connect is a feature that allows users to use smartphones and tablets as remote controls for music playback. According to Eversolo, the V1.5.60 update will be rolled out gradually via OTA to its devices. After installing the new operating system version, users “will be able to enjoy a higher-specification lossless music playback experience directly through Spotify Connect within the Spotify app,” as stated by the manufacturer.
