The Velvet Narrow Bore was released in Japan last Saturday (the 5th). With the introduction of the narrow-bore model in the Velvet series, ELOIT (formerly Divinus) has completed its range of ear tip variants. Full details of this new release are provided below.
Following three years of research, ELOIT (formerly Divinus) released the Velvet Narrow Bore. The new ear tip features a narrow bore and promises to improve sound clarity and vocal reproduction. In addition, all the qualities that contributed to the Velvet series’ success have been retained.
The Velvet Narrow Bore enhances the sound by improving clarity and emphasizing singers’ voices, while also featuring the renowned “velvety-soft texture.” Further details about the new Velvet series ear tip are provided below.

With the release of the Velvet Narrow Bore, you can now choose among three different models to achieve the sound signature you find most pleasing. This provides greater flexibility to test different combinations with your IEMs (in-ear monitors) and determine which pairing works best for you.
The table below presents the key characteristics of the ELOIT (formerly Divinus) Velvet ear tips to help explain the differences among the models.
| Model | Velvet | Velvet Wide Bore | Velvet Narrow Bore |
| Bore | standard bore | wide bore | narrow bore |

The material and surface design of the Velvet Narrow Bore ear tips provide a high level of comfort while also making cleaning easier.
The silicone used in the Velvet series ear tips has a velvety-soft texture. The ultrafine microembossing relieves the pressure exerted by the ear tips inside the ear canal, providing even greater comfort.

Another notable feature is that dust and earwax do not adhere to the surface of the Velvet ear tips. After removing the ear tips from your ears, simply wipe them with a cloth to remove dirt easily.
Whereas most ear tips have their center of gravity closer to the base of the dome, Velvet ear tips have their center of gravity closer to the bore. This design change provides a more secure fit and deeper insertion into the ear canal, improving the stability of the IEMs in the ears.

Instead of using a straight stem, as most ear tips do, the Velvet Narrow Bore ear tips feature a conical stem. This design improves sound clarity and enhances vocal reproduction.

To improve the fit of Velvet ear tips on IEM nozzles, an additional layer of silicone is incorporated into the base of the stem. This improves compatibility with IEM nozzles of different diameters.

To provide the best possible seal in the ear canal, Velvet ear tips are available in five different sizes: S, MS, M, ML, and L. In addition, grooves at the base of the ear tip stems allow the sizes to be distinguished from one another.

The image below shows the dimensions, in millimeters, of each Velvet Narrow Bore ear tip size.

The ELOIT (formerly Divinus) Velvet Narrow Bore ear tips are now available for US$20.99 from the HiFiGo store on AliExpress. This price is for a set that includes all sizes (S, MS, M, ML, and L). The Velvet Wide Bore and standard Velvet models are also available from the same store.
