Snowsky Echo Nano Digital Audio Player (DAP) in Purple (Image: Snowsky/Rednote)
The Snowsky Echo Nano received a new color option this week. At launch, the digital audio player (DAP) was available in seven finishes: Black, White, Light Blue, Orange, Beige (Titanium), Green, and Pink. The Snowsky Echo Nano is now also available in a Purple finish.
At launch, Snowsky promoted the Echo Nano in seven color options, including Orange. However, the FiiO sub-brand decided to discontinue the Orange version for two reasons.
Kang, the Snowsky representative responsible for the Echo DAP lineup, explained the decision:
“Bright colors attract attention, but actual sales tend to be only average. The Orange version was not mass-produced.”
Fortunately, Kang also indicated that the Orange version could return in the future.
“If there is sufficient demand, we may also consider producing it.”
During the first week of July, a FiiO representative known as “FiiO Yellow” posted the following message on social media:
“The Purple version is not yet available. We will produce it as soon as possible.”

Last Wednesday (July 15), the FiiO representative known as “Matt” announced that the Purple Echo Nano would officially launch on July 21. However, the new color became available earlier than he had indicated.
Last Saturday, Snowsky’s official Rednote account announced the Purple version. According to the FiiO sub-brand, the new color was originally expected to launch earlier this month.
“Expected to launch in early July. Are you looking forward to it?”
Alongside the announcement, Snowsky released a series of promotional images showcasing the new Purple finish from multiple angles. These are the images used in this article to provide readers with a detailed look at the latest version of the DAP.

Released internationally in May 2026, the Snowsky Echo Nano is a compact digital audio player (DAP) constructed from a magnesium-aluminum alloy and inspired by the Sony Walkman NW-A608. Despite its metal construction, the Echo Nano is even lighter than the Echo Mini, weighing just 33.5 g. It is also remarkably slim, measuring only 2 cm in width while maintaining the Echo Mini’s 8 cm length.
To simplify navigation and volume adjustment, the device features a multifunction rotary knob that can also be pressed to confirm selections. Another notable feature is compatibility with the optional NEST-ECHO NANO PC accessory, a protective case with a rear clip that allows users to attach the Echo Nano to clothing or a bag.
It is important to note that the Echo Nano supports microSD cards with capacities of up to 256 GB. In addition, its music library is limited to 8,192 tracks.
