The QDC DEBUT-CG was announced today (May 29) in Japan. It is a custom in-ear monitor (CIEM) featuring a detachable boom microphone and a sound signature specifically tuned for gaming. Its development involved feedback from more than 100 professional esports players, helping optimize its performance in competitive gaming scenarios. Below are all the details regarding the launch of QDC’s latest Custom In-Ear Monitor (CIEM).
Based on feedback from more than one hundred professional esports players, the DEBUT-CG was tuned to meet the requirements of various gaming genres. To ensure greater accuracy, sound evaluations were conducted across multiple game categories, incorporating sonic characteristics valued in a wide range of competitive titles.
As a Custom In-Ear Monitor, the DEBUT-CG provides a perfect fit and remains comfortable even during extended listening sessions. This is particularly important for professional players, who spend long hours practicing and require a comfortable monitoring solution. If you are unfamiliar with CIEMs and how they are manufactured, we recommend reading this article.

Adjustments made to the DEBUT-CG’s 10 mm dynamic driver and internal acoustic structure resulted in highly accurate sound reproduction. Footstep sounds are rendered with excellent clarity, while weapon reload effects and character skill cues are easily distinguishable. In addition, the soundstage is spacious, making it easy to identify both the position and distance of individual sound sources.
It is important to note that this level of sonic clarity is not solely the result of the DEBUT-CG’s tuning. Because it is a custom-molded IEM designed to match the shape of the user’s ears, it also provides an exceptionally high level of passive noise isolation, reaching up to 26 dB.

To enhance convenience and portability, the DEBUT-CG features a detachable boom microphone that connects directly to its proprietary QDC 2-pin cable. As a result, this custom in-ear monitor is not compatible with cables that use standard 2-pin connectors. If you would like to learn more about the different types of 2-pin connectors, please refer to this article.
The microphone integrated into the DEBUT-CG cable is an electret condenser microphone. Its diaphragm is made from a permanently polarized material known as an electret. This design allows the microphone to operate without requiring an external high-voltage power supply. In other words, users simply need to connect the cable’s 3.5 mm L-shaped plug to any device that supports a headset connection with an integrated microphone.

• Cable Connector: QDC 2-Pin
• Cable Length: 150 cm
• Cable Plug: 3.5 mm L-shaped plug with metal housing
• Driver: 1 × Dynamic Driver (DD) per side with a 10 mm PU+PEEK-coated diaphragm
