The Moondrop E.S. Combo accessory for IEMs (In-Ear Monitors) was unveiled during the 20th Shenzhen International Audio Show (SIAS 2026). The E.S. Combo is an IEM cable with 0.78 mm 2-pin connectors that comes with a set of accessories. The kit includes a boom microphone, a mute switch on the Y-splitter, and a sound card (DAC/amp) with integrated DSP.
The E.S. Combo is designed to bring gaming headset features to an IEM (In-Ear Monitor). In addition to including a boom microphone, Moondrop’s eSports-oriented cable kit offers gaming-related equalization (EQ) features.
To provide a better experience with the E.S. Combo, Moondrop implemented easily accessible physical controls on both the cable itself and the DAC/amp included in the kit. With that said, I will begin by discussing these controls.

The E.S. Combo cable features a switch on its Y-splitter for muting the microphone. This makes it easier to prevent participants in a game’s voice chat from hearing unwanted background noise.

It is important to note that the cable is not permanently attached to the sound card. The DAC/amp features a 3.5 mm headphone output for connecting the cable. This accessory also has two controls, as described below.
The E.S. Combo’s sound card features two controls that provide quick access to functions related to the integrated DSP.
The switch located on the side of the DAC/amp activates AI-enhanced ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation). When this feature is enabled, the audio captured by the microphone is analyzed and ambient noise is filtered out. As a result, only the user’s voice is transmitted.

The push button is used to switch between different equalization (EQ) profiles. Users can select either a predefined equalization profile (preset) or a custom profile. The selectable EQ modes are as follows:
• FPS-1 (RL)
• FPS-2 (SF)
• Movie/3A
• Music
• Custom

To create an equalization profile, users must use the Moondrop app, which is available for smartphones and via the web (browser) for access on a PC. Through the app, users can access the “Online Interactive DSP” platform, an interface designed for applying equalization settings.
Because the E.S. Combo’s DAC/amp supports the Moondrop app, users can utilize a 10-band parametric equalizer (PEQ). In addition, AUTO EQ allows predefined equalization profiles to be applied automatically.
Through the “Online Interactive DSP” platform, E.S. Combo users can also download and upload equalization profiles. This is made possible by the user community built around “Online Interactive DSP,” where a variety of predefined equalization profiles are shared. Users can, for example, download an equalization profile designed for a specific game and optimize the performance of a particular IEM model.

The Moondrop E.S. Combo will be sold for 199 yuan (approximately US$30) in mainland China. The release date for the E.S. Combo has not yet been announced. This article will be updated as soon as new information becomes available.
