The SnowSky Echo Nano had its release date and some of its specifications revealed. During the 10th edition of the portable audio exhibition CIHE (China International Headphone Exhibition) 2026 in Shanghai, held on March 14 and 15, information regarding the new DAP (Digital Audio Player) from the “Echo” lineup of FiiO’s sub-brand Snowsky, the “Nano,” was disclosed. All details are presented below.

Displayed during CIHE 2026 in Shanghai, the Snowsky Echo Nano received additional details regarding its specifications as well as a projected release date. This marks the second time the DAP has been made available for testing at FiiO’s booth.

During the CanJam NYC 2026 event, held in New York City, USA, on March 7 and 8, FiiO showcased the Echo Nano at its booth. On that occasion, the YouTube channel “HiFi-Dawson” published a video demonstrating the DAP’s design and user interface.

Physical buttons of the Echo Nano

The physical buttons of the Echo Nano are located on the right side and at the top of the DAP.

In footage from the “HiFi-Dawson” channel, it can be observed that the rotary knob on the top functions both as a volume control and as a power/display control when pressed.

In the same footage, it is also evident that the volume knob can be used to navigate through the Echo Nano’s menu options, including tracks stored in folders on the microSD card.

The larger button on the right side likely serves to skip forward and backward between tracks.

The smaller button functions both to pause/play and to confirm selections when navigating the DAP’s interface.

Echo Nano storage capacity

To store music on the Echo Nano, a microSD card is required. Like the Echo and Echo Mini, the Nano supports cards of up to 256 GB.

Support for USB DAC mode (functioning as a dongle DAC)

When necessary, the Echo Nano can be connected to a smartphone, tablet, or PC for use as a USB DAC/amp. In other words, this DAP has a form factor comparable to a USB DAC dongle and can be used in conjunction with smartphones.

Release, price, and availability

The Snowsky Echo Nano will be released in April 2026 in mainland China. It remains unclear whether the DAP will be launched in the international market in the same month. Additionally, its price has not yet been officially disclosed. At both CanJam NY 2026 and CIHE 2026, the product label displayed the note: “price to be determined.”
