C 3030 and C 3030S: Meet NAD’s New Stereo Integrated Amplifiers

The new NAD C 3030 and NAD C 3030S stereo integrated amplifiers were announced this past Saturday (14). In the launch statement published on the news page of New Acoustic Dimension (NAD), a well-known British manufacturer in the stereo loudspeaker systems market, it was stated that the design of the new amplifiers was inspired by the “C 3050 Anniversary Edition” model. Design Based on the NAD C 3050

According to NAD, the new C 3030 and C 3030S amplifiers feature a design inspired by the globally successful C 3050 amplifier. As a result, they incorporate “retro details,” including VU meters and a black front panel with the classic NAD logo, reminiscent of the original 3030 model released in the late 1970s.

NAD Product Manager Morten Nielsen commented on the new 3030 series amplifiers:

“The response to the C 3050 reflects a broader shift toward more intentional listening. Vinyl and CDs are returning, not as replacements for streaming, but as a way to reconnect with music in a more deliberate manner. With the C 3030, our goal was to make that experience accessible to more listeners. There is a tangible connection in the physical act of listening, placing the needle on a record or inserting a CD, that brings music to life. The C 3030 captures that sense of tradition while delivering the performance and simplicity expected from a modern NAD amplifier.”

“Traditional” Appearance with High Performance

The new C 3030 series amplifiers deliver 50 watts per channel, offering, according to NAD, “precision, control, and engagement” across a wide range of loudspeakers. In addition, to provide flexibility and performance, the units can be connected to a television via HDMI eARC or to a smartphone through wireless Bluetooth connectivity with the aptX HD codec.

Users may also add a subwoofer if desired and utilize high-pass filtering for more precise adjustment of the system’s sonic behavior.

New C 3030 Series Also Features Streaming Functionality

The new C 3030 amplifiers include built-in streaming functionality and BluOS support, enabling wireless control of streaming playback via a mobile application. It is important to note that the maximum streaming capability supported by this system is up to 24-bit/192 kHz, and native MQA decoding is provided.

BluOS allows users to access more than twenty streaming services, internet radio stations, local libraries, and networked music storage.

The NAD C 3030 stereo integrated amplifier is now available through authorized dealers with a suggested retail price of US$899. The NAD C 3030S will retail for US$1,199 and is scheduled for availability between March and May 2026.
