FiiO plans to launch a large number of over-ear headphones and several on-ear models in 2026. In addition, the company states that it will introduce products aimed at different user groups. According to FiiO’s founder and CEO, James Chung, the company will release new retro on-ear models under the SnowSky brand, gaming headsets, and monitoring headphones. Below is a preview of the models scheduled for release this year.

Snowsky WIND PRO On-Ear Headphone

The WIND PRO on-ear headphone was developed in response to criticism from long-time FiiO users who stated that “the sound quality was not good enough to be considered ‘Hi-Fi,’” according to James. Opinions were divided: while one group was drawn to the design and comfort of the original Snowsky WIND, another group was dissatisfied with the lack of a tuning more focused on high-fidelity sound reproduction.

According to James, the WIND PRO will involve “a slight sacrifice in terms of comfort and aesthetics,” but will feature “a sound tuning more oriented toward high fidelity.” As a result, its price will be higher than that of the original WIND.

The Snowsky WIND PRO is scheduled for release in June 2026.

FiiO FG3 Wired Gaming Headset

The FG3 headset was designed based on the FiiO FT3, which has already been used for gaming by some users who chose to purchase a separate cable with a microphone. However, instead of adopting an open-back design, the manufacturer opted for a closed-back design for the FG3, as is typical for most gaming headsets.

According to James, the FG3 uses a USB cable connection, although it is believed that a 3.5 mm connector option may also be offered. In addition, support for virtual 7.1-channel surround sound was confirmed.

The FG3 employs a dynamic driver, and its headband is the same foldable design used in the JadeAudio JT7, which facilitates portability.

The launch of the FiiO FG3 is scheduled for May 2026. An image of the headset is shown below.

FiiO FG5 Wireless Gaming Headset

According to James, the FG5 represents a step up from the FG3 and features a planar magnetic driver. Furthermore, to ensure low latency despite being wireless, this headset employs dual connectivity: 2.4G wireless and Bluetooth. The Bluetooth audio codec used in this model is LDAC rather than aptX Low Latency (aptX LL) or aptX Adaptive.

The FG5 features a closed-back design and an appearance similar to that of the FG3, including a foldable headband, according to James.

The launch of the FiiO FG5 is scheduled for July 2026.

Over-Ear Monitoring Headphone

FiiO has decided to develop a headphone specifically intended for monitoring applications. According to James, the goal is to create an over-ear headphone with “an excellent frequency response curve, minimal coloration, and the lowest possible distortion, aiming for faithful reproduction.”

Internally, the product has not yet been formally approved, and for this reason no further technical details can be disclosed at this time, according to James. The only information provided is that FiiO intends to launch this monitoring headphone by the end of 2026.
