The 3.4.0 firmware for the Snowsky Echo Mini was released yesterday (24). However, after installation, the tracks became out of order on the Echo Mini digital audio player (DAP). See below a report from an Echo Mini user and learn how to resolve this issue.
Released on April 24, the V3.4.0 firmware update for the Echo Mini caused issues with track ordering. The problem was reported in the thread dedicated to the DAP on the Head-Fi forum.

Yesterday (24), the user “Arecotop” posted in the thread “FIIO’s innovative sub brand, SNOWSKY Pure Music Player ECHO MINI Is Officially Released!” on the Head-Fi forum, stating the following:
“Hello, I’m having a issue with 3.4.0. The music order is wrong in some albums. If you check the metadata they are in the right order.”
As shown in the image below, the track listing begins at track 10 instead of track 1.

It is likely that, in attempting to resolve a previously reported issue by another Echo Mini user, the bug described above was inadvertently introduced.
On April 8, the user “Siamsa” reported the following in the same Head-Fi thread:
“I have one remaining issue that is causing frustration: for albums that have more than one disc/CD, the library lists them in the wrong order. Expected behaviour: The songs should simply be ordered one disc after another. So one album should show songs 1,2,3,4….. (in disc one, followed by) 1,2,3,4… (in disc two) in that order. It’s easy to reproduce. I suspect the tag “Disc Number” needs to be respected to solve this problem. Do you think this could be fixed in a future update?”

It is likely that, in attempting to address the issue described above, the Echo Mini development team inadvertently introduced a bug affecting track ordering. While this issue remains unresolved, there is a temporary workaround that fixes the track sorting problem, as outlined below.
To temporarily resolve the track order issue on the Echo Mini that arises after installing firmware 3.4.0, you should downgrade to the previous firmware version, V3.3.0. Note that version 3.3.0 initially presented issues; however, the developers re-uploaded the file and fixed the bug, as previously reported by Hi-Fi Hub.
Before starting the firmware downgrade process, remove the microSD card. Then follow the steps below:
Step 01: Download firmware version 3.3.0 via this link.
Step 02: Power on the Echo Mini, connect the USB cable to the DAP, and select the “USB Data” option using the physical arrow buttons.
Step 03: Open the file “ECHO MINI V3.3.0” and the folder with the same name.
Step 04: Copy the file “HIFIEC33” to the “ECHO MINI” storage drive.
Step 05: Safely eject the “ECHO MINI” storage drive and disconnect the USB cable.
Step 06: Turn off the Echo Mini and power it on again. The update process will start automatically.
