The ONIX Zenith XMT20 had its official launch announced yesterday (22) on social media. Shanling’s subsidiary, ONIX, revealed the pricing and features of its new streamer. Its most notable capabilities include support for Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, and Roon.
The Zenith XMT20 can be operated via its touchscreen display, through the included remote control, and using the Eddict Controller app. In addition, the streamer allows playback control from a smartphone or tablet when using Tidal, Qobuz, or Roon.
According to ONIX, the XMT20 features an in-house developed Linux-based operating system optimized for simple and fast control, with a strong emphasis on remote operation. Support for Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, and Roon Ready certification further contributes to a refined and user-friendly experience.

If you own a USB CD player, it can be connected to the XMT20 to play tracks or to rip music directly to a storage device such as an SSD, HDD, or USB flash drive. Through the Eddict Controller app, users can also add tags and album artwork.
The XMT20 is equipped with six digital outputs:
For the I2S output, there are 10 preconfigured pinouts, enabling broader compatibility with DACs that support this interface.

The ONIX XMT20 streamer will be available for purchase in February 2026 at a price of US$ 2,199.
