Shanling M3 Plus × Tanchjim “AsanoTanch” is launched

The Shanling M3 Plus has received a special edition called “AsanoTanch · Shangshan Ruoshui”, created in collaboration with Tanchjim. The Shanling Digital Audio Player was announced on Tanchjim’s social media on December 25 and will go on sale on December 30. Highlights include the blue color scheme, customized tuning with improvements to the amplification stage and power delivery for the digital section, as well as exclusive accessories.

Limited Collaborative Edition of the Shanling M3 Plus with Tanchjim

Featured across various Tanchjim products, the character “AsanoTanch” is the theme of this limited collaborative edition of the Shanling M3 Plus Digital Audio Player (DAP). In this version, the first thing that stands out is the aluminum body painted in the special “Celestial Water Cyan” color.

On the back, there is a beautiful illustration of AsanoTanch. Unfortunately, nothing was mentioned about any UI (user interface) customization, unlike what Hiby did with the M500 x Hatsune Miku.

Improved Sound

According to Shanling, “to elevate overall quality and deliver a smoother listening experience,” an exclusive collaborative sound tuning was carried out by replacing the capacitors used in the standard M3 with Silmic II silk-film capacitors, along with enhancements to the power delivery of the digital section of the mainboard circuitry.
